Artists leave recordings at real locations. You can't stream them from your sofa — you have to go there.
Each work has an area around it. Sound begins at the edge and comes up as you close in. Walk inside and it unlocks and begins. Walk away and it fades out and waits for you.
There's no account, and nothing you listen to is sent anywhere.
It's small on purpose. A handful of works in one city, placed one at a time, by artists we've asked directly. If you're one of them, you'll have been sent a code. If you make work and would like to leave some here, ask to join.
